Digital Infrastructure for Civic and Democratic Resilience
We are Non-Profit Organization
ABOUT THE COMPANY
De Lokale
Stichting de Lokale is a Netherlands-based non-profit foundation that designs, develops, and operates civic-tech platforms and analytical tools supporting civil society, independent media, and institutional partners in complex environments.

We work at the intersection of technology, civic participation, and information resilience, delivering scalable digital infrastructure that can be piloted, adapted, and deployed across countries and sectors.

Our work integrates product development, applied research, and capacity building, enabling solutions that serve a wide range of partners — from grassroots civil society initiatives to international and intergovernmental organisations.

Through long-term collaboration with donors, research organisations, and public institutions, Stichting de Lokale contributes to democratic resilience, civic participation, and access to trusted digital tools in high-risk and rapidly changing environments.

Our Digital Ecosystem
Projects
Stichting de Lokale develops and operates an integrated ecosystem of digital platforms, each addressing a specific dimension of civic participation, democratic resilience, and community support. Together, these tools form a modular infrastructure that can be adapted to different regions, partners, and use cases.
